From Cyan Librarian to librarian.page
Librarian started in 2024 as Cyan Librarian, the bot of the Cyan Realms Minecraft community. It still runs there today.
Librarian didn't start as a product. It started as Cyan Librarian, the bot of Cyan Realms, a Minecraft community, in October 2024.
One community's bot
The first version was small: tickets, an anti-spam filter, welcome messages, an audit log. A shop and coins followed a month later. Over 2025 it grew the things a real community asks for: levels from chat and voice, leaderboards, moderation that escalates, and an AI.
The AI started as one help channel. Then it learned to answer from the community's own announcements and docs, instead of guessing about Minecraft. It went on to chat with memory, answer on the community's website, and reply inside tickets.
Why it became Librarian
By 2026 Cyan Librarian was doing everything Cyan Realms needed, and the same problems it solved, answering the same questions over and over, keeping tickets tidy, are problems every server has.
So in September 2026 we rebuilt it as Librarian: the same ideas, proven on a live server for nearly two years, made to run in any server and set up from a web page at librarian.page.
Cyan Librarian today
Cyan Librarian is still there in Cyan Realms. It is the name that community gives its bot, and Librarian is the successor it grew into, built so one codebase serves Cyan Realms and every other server.
