Add AI to Helper.gg

Add an AI to your Helper.gg tickets: Librarian answers from your own knowledge when staff haven't replied in time. Keep Helper.gg. Free on every plan.

Updated

Keep Helper.gg for your tickets, and add an AI that steps in when your staff haven't replied in time. Librarian works inside the tickets Helper.gg opens: it doesn't replace Helper.gg, and you don't move anything. Your staff always get the first word. Free on every plan.

Your tickets

Keep the ticket bot you have, channels or threads, or use Librarian's own. Pick where tickets open, and Librarian is there too.

Give staff this long first

  • Staff first. It only steps in when nobody has replied in time, or straight away if you like.
  • One question, never more. When the answer depends on a detail, it asks once.
  • Honest. No guessing: if your docs don't cover it, it says so and staff take over.

Demo

Open a ticket with the buttons below.

Try it: Pick a ticket bot and open a ticket at 2 a.m., or while a mod is on.

Set it up with Helper.gg

  1. Add Librarian to your server and teach the AI your rules and FAQ under AI settings.
  2. Open AI Tickets → Your ticket bot and switch it on.
  3. Tell it where Helper.gg's tickets open. If Helper.gg opens a channel per ticket, pick that category under Ticket categories. If it opens a thread per ticket, pick the channel the threads open in under Ticket thread channels.
  4. Add Librarian's role to the roles Helper.gg adds to every new ticket (the support or staff roles in its settings), so Librarian can see and reply in them.
  5. Set how long staff get first, then open a test ticket.

What happens in a ticket

A member opens a ticket with Helper.gg as usual. If nobody from staff replies in the time you set, Librarian answers from your knowledge, asks one question to narrow it down, or tells the member a staff member is on the way. As soon as anyone from your team writes, it steps back for good. Helper.gg keeps handling everything else: claiming, closing and transcripts.

Each reply uses one AI answer. When your answers run out, it posts your hand-off message instead.

Helper.gg is a separate bot made by its own team, and isn't affiliated with Librarian.

Questions

Do I have to stop using Helper.gg?

No. Librarian works alongside Helper.gg. Your panels, commands and transcripts stay the same.

Why can't the AI see my tickets?

Librarian needs to be let into each ticket. Add its role to the roles Helper.gg adds to new tickets. The AI Tickets page warns you when it can't see them.

Will the AI answer over my staff?

No. Staff get the time you set first, and once anyone from your team writes, the AI stays out of that ticket.
