Your dashboard: modules, switches and pausing

How the Librarian dashboard is laid out: the four AI modules, the Essentials, AI settings, and how switching off or pausing works.

Everything Librarian does is a module with its own page and its own switch. The menu on the left groups them.

On, off and paused

  1. The switch is at the top of each module's page. It saves the moment you flip it.
  2. Switching off an AI module pauses it: every part stops, but all its settings stay, and switching it back on carries on where you left off.
  3. Pausing AI Tickets asks first, and says how many tickets are open.
  4. In the menu, a module that's on has a coloured icon. One that's off is greyed out with the word Off. You'll also see Paused, Set up (it's on but still needs something), or a lock when it isn't in your plan.

Essentials you haven't switched on don't crowd the menu: they're in Browse all, each with its own page to look through before you switch it on.

Not sure where a setting is? Press ✨ Ask AI at the top of any page and ask in your own words. It explains how Librarian works and links straight to the page and setting. It never changes anything for you: you make every change.

Questions

Do I lose my settings if I switch a module off?

No. Switching off or pausing keeps every setting. Switch it back on and it carries on as before.

Why does a module say Set up?

It's on but missing something it needs to work, such as a channel. Open it: the page says what's missing.
