Set it up

  1. Open Essentials → Welcome and switch it on.
  2. Pick the Welcome channel. Optionally pick a Getting-started channel, linked in the card.
  3. Choose what the card shows: the rules, a "Did you know?" fact picked at random from yours, and a reaction the bot adds to each welcome.

The wording of the card, the rules and the facts are edited under Language → Welcome.

✨ A personal line, written by the AI

Switch on the AI line on the Welcome page and the AI writes a short, fresh line for each new member's card. It uses one AI answer per member.

Can I change the welcome message?

Yes. Every line of it is under Language → Welcome.

Can it DM new members?

Yes, with AI Automations on Basic and Pro: When a member joins, Then send the member a DM.
